FOOTPRINTS YOUTH GROUP
Footprints is the youth group of the True Life Christian Fellowship Church, North Baddesley and is for young people in Year 6 and older.
We meet every Friday evening, often borrowing All Saints' Church Hall in Rownhams Road. We do lots of interesting, fun and useful stuff - sometimes games, swimming, scavenger hunts, on the beach, ice skating, bbq's, etc and also spend some time exploring what it means to be Christian - often using videos and more games.
People attending don't have to go to church - FOOTPRINTS is for everyone!
We have a weekly programme which you can get by phoning Jim Bird on 023 8041 0792 or via the TLCF website: http://www.tlcf.co.uk
The Rock Solid Youth Project has been working with children and young people in North Baddesley for over nine years now, and since 2003 in our own purpose-converted "big green bus".
The bus is out all year round in term time at Lavington Gardens, North Baddesley, from 7.00 on Mondays and in Botley Road (near Emer Close) from 7.00 on Thursdays. Within the safety of rules devised by children using the bus, we welcome children and young people of all ages without restriction - and it's all free!
The bus has lots of information on issues of concern to local children/young people, has a tuck shop and activities relevant to those attending. Rock Solid Youth Project is significantly funded by The Children's Fund, and is organised and led by volunteers from True life Christian Fellowship Church, also employing an experienced children's worker specialising in drug and alcohol education.
